Finally out of the garage and put back together. I’d say more but I’m exhausted.

These are my favorite Land Rovers by a long shot. How stupid would I be to attempt to daily one in the winter? It would only have to not fail catastrophically for like 6 months max

Anyone wanna make some bets how soon it will be back in the garage being taken apart?

Right after the first nice long trouble free drive. That’s how this hobby works.

Like anything else, if you get one in nice condition, and keep up with consumable parts they’re pretty solid. Most of the bad reputation they have is due to the fact that they don’t take neglect well. If you find one that’s been looked after and has had a lot of the known issues addressed they’re very rewarding to drive. The car is built for the winter, the heater gets very hot and all the controls were designed to be operated with gloves on. Mine has heated seats and a heated windshield.

Thanks for the detailed response! Sounds like the perfect winter tank, these are on my list just for the aesthetics alone. Especially the LWB!

Hopefully the normies will never figure this one out about used luxury cars. Long live insane depreciation!

We had a 15 year old one of these as a winter beater when I was growing up. It never stranded us. The heater always worked. The interior and minor electronics were always falling apart.

Congradulations! I’m a big fan of these.
